An original painting was created to describe the characteristics of a city with a growing arts district.

Key elements in the logo reflect the results of interviews with city residents, businesses, and local government leaders. The design captures a fusion of city landmarks, local architecture, and green space; the spirit of a small city on the edge of our nation's capital.

Challenge

The City of Hyattsville needed a revitalized brand to support its new development and to energize residents. The brand needed to be attractive to business owners and residents interested in moving to this area as well as a diverse local population.

Solution

We interviewed residents, officials and business owners to develop a brand that captured the city’s essence. We used that brand in collateral materials, gateway and street signs, website and newsletter templates, and brochures. In addition, we provided photography support.

Result

The City of Hyattsville enjoys a brand facelift that reflects the city’s character and vitality. And, by choosing Snogren Design, the city saved thousands of dollars in photography and other development costs.
